Youngcare is proud to present our annual 5km event for all! Hundreds of participants will be decked out in red budgie smugglers, red costumes and ready to BOLT all in the name of supporting our great cause. They will snake through the 5km course through UQ St Lucia, alongside the lovely Brisbane River to race to the finish line at the Recreational Precinct playground. To celebrate their success there will be some entertainment, lunch options from our food vendors, a cold iced tea or coffee and jumping castle and games to keep them occupied.
Role Description
We are after some amazing volunteers to help us out for what will be a fun filled day. Shifts will be from 7am – 12pm where we will need course marshalls, facepainters and temporary tattooists, registration desk helpers, merch sellers and simple setup of gazebos. Nothing too strenuous but loads of fun- apply today!
