Ipswich City Council Environment team are looking for event volunteers to join us to help support a wide range of events across the year.
Council initiatives support a healthy and vibrant natural environment that is highly valued by, and connected to, the community.
By joining us as an Environment Event Volunteer you will help support a range of events and educational activities for all ages that aim to highlight our conservation and sustainability efforts across the city, including community education, citizen science, and increasing community involvement through community tree planting days and events.

As an event volunteer the commitment is sporadic with the need to only commit to the event opportunities that suit you. We would love to build a team of passionate people who can help support the unique program of events we offer assisting in roles such as:
- Registering and Greeting attendees
- Providing program and event information to attendees
- Assisting with set up and pack down of the events
- Supporting attendees to correctly use the bins provide
